Project Engineer

About the role

Altizam, an engineering and technology company active since 2002 in networking, hardware, safety, security systems and industrial instrumentation, is hiring a full-time, on-site Project Engineer in Karachi. The engineer oversees engineering projects from concept through completion, working with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee projects from concept to completion, including project planning and technical design reviews
• Prepare technical documentation and monitor project progress
• Manage timelines and resources
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and related systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and communicate project status and risks clearly
• Contribute to process improvements, cost optimization and technical support for ongoing operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred
• Experience managing engineering projects in industrial, safety or infrastructure environments is an advantage
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards and specifications and work collaboratively on-site
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and commitment to health, safety and quality practices
