About the role
Usmani & Co. Chartered Accountants (UCO) is seeking a qualified or part‑qualified accounting professional to join their team on a hybrid basis. You will manage and advise on accounting, tax and reporting functions for a client engagement, delivering accurate and timely results.
Key responsibilities
- Provide ongoing tax and accounting advisory and respond to client queries.
- Oversee routine accounting, ensuring books are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and deliver periodic financial and management reports on schedule.
- Manage tax compliance, including income tax and sales tax matters.
- Liaise directly with the client’s team and key stakeholders.
Required profile
- A qualified CA with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a part‑qualified CA, qualified ACCA, or qualified ACMA with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Based in Karachi and able to work on‑site two half‑days per week.
- Comfortable with hybrid work, completing approximately 15 remote hours per week.
