Quality Control / Inspection Assistant (Hybrid, Freshers Welcome)

About the role

Gusti Leder, a maker of natural leather goods, is hiring a Quality Control / Inspection assistant in Lahore or Sialkot on a hybrid basis. The role suits fresh graduates and first-time job seekers: no previous experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, quality control or the leather industry is required. Candidates will learn on the job, work with suppliers and internal teams, and travel across Pakistan to suppliers, production sites and leather tanneries.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities and coordinate with suppliers, vendors and internal teams on orders and requirements
• Assist with supplier communication, follow-ups and order coordination
• Maintain and update purchasing, supplier and order information in MS Excel
• Support quality control and quality inspection, and help identify and report quality issues, product discrepancies or supplier concerns
• Coordinate with leather tanneries, suppliers and production locations, and follow up so orders, quality requirements and deadlines are met
• Support documentation and administrative tasks related to purchasing and supplier management
• Travel across Pakistan for supplier visits, quality inspections and business activities

Required profile

• Fresh graduates or first-time job seekers; no previous work experience required
• Based in Lahore or Sialkot
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, organisation, coordination and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and ability to spot quality issues
• Responsible, proactive, able to work independently and comfortable travelling
• Minimum 160 hours of work per month

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Excel
