Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

The position involves managing a portfolio of corporate banking clients, driving business growth, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery. You will work closely with senior bankers and internal stakeholders to originate deals, resolve issues, and expand the loan and trade book.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and control portfolio activities to achieve targeted results.
• Lead business development initiatives and monitor progress against goals.
• Maintain corporate relationships at all client levels, supporting deal origination and execution.
• Market new products, cross‑sell within CIBG and other departments, and grow loan, trade and ancillary businesses.
• Coordinate with internal teams (RMG, TG, etc.) for credit approvals and seamless transaction execution.
• Conduct credit reviews, client visits, and collect financial and operational data.
• Prepare legal documentation for facilities and manage day‑to‑day client interactions.
• Maximise recovery from non‑performing loans and weak accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, credit standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree preferred; minimum Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership and team‑building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
