Revenue Officer

About the role

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is recruiting on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA) for a Revenue Officer based in Islamabad. NAFSA is being set up as a national initiative to strengthen Pakistan's agri-trade ecosystem through better regulation, facilitation and modernisation of food safety and trade processes. The selected person will join NAFSA's founding team and help build its systems, processes and institutional capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support end-to-end billing, invoicing and collection of NAFSA service fees and receipts according to approved fee schedules, rules and internal SOPs.
• Prepare invoices and bills, maintain billing trackers and ensure accurate fee computation and timely issuance to clients.
• Maintain revenue registers covering invoices raised, receipts collected, outstanding receivables, exemptions/waivers and adjustments, keeping records traceable and audit-ready.
• Reconcile receipts with bank deposits and operational data such as inspection, certification and permit transactions, and prepare periodic reconciliation statements.
• Coordinate with operational units to obtain fee assessment inputs, validate transaction data and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Follow up on outstanding payments, issue reminders and escalate persistent overdue cases to the Deputy Director.
• Support month-end closing with schedules, aging reports and documentation for reporting and financial statements.
• Keep full documentation and audit trails for revenue activities and support audit queries.
• Help prepare periodic revenue performance reports and dashboards on collection trends, receivables aging and variances versus estimates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum sixteen years) in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in revenue/collections or accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Record-keeping.
