Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to convert inbound interest and outbound prospecting into qualified meetings for our sales team. This customer‑facing, target‑driven role focuses on rapid response to leads, proactive outreach, and accurate CRM management.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound enquiries, demo requests, and marketing‑generated leads.
• Contact prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other approved channels.
• Proactively prospect assigned target accounts, identify decision‑makers, and personalize outreach.
• Conduct discovery conversations to assess needs, challenges, and fit.
• Communicate product value proposition and schedule qualified discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives.
• Maintain complete, accurate records of prospect activity and qualification notes in the CRM.
• Meet KPIs for speed‑to‑lead, outreach activity, contact rate, qualified meetings booked, and meeting show rate.
• Share customer objections, market feedback, and lead‑quality insights with Sales and Marketing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 0–3 years experience in sales development, inside sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills with confidence speaking to prospects by phone.
• Basic understanding of prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, lead qualification, and appointment setting.
• Resilient, self‑motivated, organized, and receptive to coaching.
• Ability to learn product information quickly and explain it clearly.
• Willingness to work on US Eastern Time schedule.
