Senior Accountant - Financial Operations & Compliance

About the role

HOC Floors is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant in Lahore to oversee the company's financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. The role covers daily cash flow, payments, taxation records and product inventory management, and involves leading a team of 10 people. The position requires at least five years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash flow and ensure timely processing of payments and receipts to maintain liquidity.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in line with GAAP.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records and document all transactions properly.
• Coordinate tax preparation and ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations.
• Conduct regular audit and internal control assessments and perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Lead and supervise a team of 10 accounting professionals, providing training, guidance and performance evaluations.
• Manage product inventory records and reconcile them with financial data.
• Research tax compliance issues, prepare regulatory reports and stay up to date with tax law changes.
• Identify process improvements in financial operations and collaborate with other departments on financial insights.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and follow company policies and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of five years of experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in tax preparation and compliance.
