Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax

About the role

Aksa Converters is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Lahore. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, account reconciliation, and tax compliance while supporting audit processes and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with precise entries.
• Coordinate tax compliance activities, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Support audit processes by gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Execute monthly, accounts, and stock closing procedures and prepare related audit reports.
• Collaborate with banking institutions to reconcile statements and support banking operations.
• Communicate financial information effectively with internal teams and external parties.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and audit coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
