Senior Accountant – Team Lead

About the role

Kashee's Beauty Parlour is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to lead its accounting team in Karachi. The role combines hands‑on accounting responsibilities with team leadership, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
• Lead a team of five accounting staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Implement and maintain effective accounting procedures and controls.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with external auditors and support audit processes as required.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash management reports to support operational goals.
• Continuously evaluate accounting systems and processes for efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small accounting team.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
