About the role
Akseer is hiring a Senior Analyst - Equity Research in Karachi. The analyst covers both local and international equities, researching assigned sectors to generate actionable investment ideas and meet client needs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned sectors and companies.
- Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research to generate investment ideas.
- Build detailed financial models, maintain databases and prepare reports on coverage.
- Stay updated on market and sector developments and share timely alerts and briefs.
- Assist in building and maintaining departmental databases and periodic reports.
- Train, mentor and guide junior analysts and trainees.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field, or ACCA certification.
- CFA charter holders or active candidates are preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant equity research experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills in finance and investment.
- Solid understanding of valuation methodologies.
