About the role
We are seeking a Senior Area Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Quetta. The role involves deploying company strategies, developing local business plans, and training the team to meet both short‑term objectives and long‑term growth targets.
Key responsibilities
- Set SMART objectives aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and cascade them to the territory team.
- Estimate category development potential, create growth plans, and drive market‑share expansion.
- Monitor financials, trade discounts, distributor ROI and ensure accurate sales data flow to senior management.
- Implement quality‑control measures at distributor outlets and track depot sales.
- Motivate and coach TSOs and DSRs through daily interaction, weekly meetings and process optimisation.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on strategy, promotions, new product launches and competitor analysis.
- Identify untapped channels, new towns and optimal pack sizes to increase market share.
- Propose process improvements in data tracking, payment methods and supply‑chain coordination.
- Maintain a regular physical presence in the territory to understand customer needs.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading sales teams and achieving volume targets.
- Strong ability to set and track SMART objectives and AOP metrics.
- Experience in market‑share growth, channel development and promotion planning.
- Analytical mindset for financial monitoring, ROI analysis and competitor intelligence.
- Excellent coaching and team‑building skills.
