Senior Consultant – Procurement (Business Consulting)

About the role

Join EY‑GDS as a Senior Consultant in Procurement, delivering high‑quality managed‑services to global clients. You will oversee end‑to‑end purchase requisition to purchase order (PR‑to‑PO) processes, contract administration, supplier management and spend analytics, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate and release purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring correct coding, delegation of authority and buying channel usage.
• Manage order confirmations, delivery tracking, shipment issues and invoice discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support operational sourcing activities such as spot buys, quote collection and event preparation for category teams.
• Maintain desktop procedures, process documentation and provide help‑desk support for PR/PO, catalogs and system queries.
• Administer contract changes, renewals and repository maintenance, ensuring alignment with sourcing requirements.
• Track contract consumption, expiration alerts and support contract‑related help‑desk queries.
• Conduct supplier evaluation, due‑diligence checks and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of hands‑on experience in procurement operations, preferably in a managed‑services or global business services environment.
• Proven ability to execute PR‑to‑PO transactions with precision and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of policy compliance, contract lifecycle management and supplier performance tracking.
