Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Contour is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team in Pakistan. The role involves managing monthly financial accounting, preparing reports, and providing analysis to support business unit leaders and senior executives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, and financial analysis for timely reporting.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes and produce income statements.
• Drive quarterly forecasting in partnership with business unit leaders and compare actuals to forecasts.
• Develop KPI‑based performance dashboards and ad‑hoc financial analyses.
• Maintain account reconciliations, pre‑payment and accrual schedules, and commission calculations.
• Prepare note disclosures for quarter‑end and year‑end reporting.
• Train and mentor junior analysts and support internal/external audit requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance; MBA or professional designations (CGA, CMA, CA, ACCA) preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as a senior financial analyst or similar role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Great Plains accounting software.
• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is an asset.
