Senior Manager Data Center

About the role

PTCL is hiring a Senior Manager Data Center to manage data centre operations and facilities, including power, cooling and allied services, while ensuring uptime according to TIA 942 compliance. The role also covers SLA and OLA management, security and governance compliance, and leads the infrastructure team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data centre operations and facility, including power, cooling and allied services, ensuring uptime as per TIA 942 compliance.
• Manage SLAs with vendors and customers and OLAs to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance baselines.
• Develop cost-efficiency strategies, optimise infrastructure costs and improve resource utilisation.
• Maintain high availability through proactive monitoring, redundancy planning, incident management and disaster recovery testing.
• Lead and develop the infrastructure team, setting performance objectives and monitoring project progress.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor SLA compliance, evaluate vendor performance and resolve operational issues.
• Identify process improvements, evaluate emerging technologies and adopt industry best practices.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards through access controls, risk mitigation and regular compliance audits.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electrical Engineering or M.S. in Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience in the relevant field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Certifications such as PMP, CDCS or CTDC are good to have.
