Senior Manager – DevSecOps

About the role

Abacus Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager DevSecOps to lead the integration of development and operations for high‑quality telecom services. The role focuses on automation, continuous delivery, security, and reliability across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define goals, roadmaps, and timelines for CI/CD and continuous delivery within sprint releases.
• Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Establish and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for frequent, automated software releases.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure real‑time visibility of performance and availability.
• Utilize containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) with load balancing to guarantee scalability and reliability.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot complex incidents, and coordinate cross‑functional resolution.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce vulnerability assessments, access controls, and GDPR‑compliant data protection.
• Lead chapter collaboration to align on overall software strategy and engineering excellence.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in DevSecOps or related engineering leadership.
• Strong background in telecom or large‑scale service environments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive automation, continuous improvement, and cross‑team collaboration.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on security and compliance.
