Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager will lead procurement operations for Riphah International University and the Islamic International Medical College-Trust, driving cost‑effective sourcing strategies and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to secure cost‑effective deals.
• Maintain a vetted supplier and vendor database, ensuring proper registration and qualification.
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms to achieve optimal quality and value.
• Build and sustain long‑term professional relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor adherence to procurement policies across all transactions.
• Coordinate quarterly approval of rates for regular consumables.
• Identify organizational purchasing needs and consolidate procurement to obtain best deals.
• Train and develop the procurement team at strategic unit level.
• Manage service level agreements and continuously evaluate procurement policies for cost savings.
• Oversee procurement budgets, promoting long‑term savings.
• Review contracts and agreements to protect the organization’s interests.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management from an HEC‑recognized institution.
• 8–10 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably in the education or healthcare sector.
