Senior Software Engineer – Node & React

About the role

Creative Chaos is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Node.js and React to design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications. You will ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our platforms while mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and estimate tasks.
• Write clean, testable code and achieve at least 90% unit‑test coverage.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Build responsive user interfaces with React, Redux, and Context API.
• Optimize code for security and performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems.
• Update issue‑tracking tools and provide regular status reports.
• Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Participate in hiring and evaluate candidates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
