Senior Technical Sales Engineer – Electrical Products

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to drive B2B sales of Signify LED lighting and ABB electrical products across commercial, industrial and project sectors in Pakistan. The role involves generating new business, providing technical product advice and closing sales deals while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for LED lighting and electrical products in commercial and industrial markets.
• Analyse technical datasheets, bills of quantities and project specifications to recommend appropriate products.
• Meet contractors, consultants and end‑users for product promotion, technical discussions and presentations.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and negotiate contract terms to achieve sales targets.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring product suitability and performance.
• Maintain customer records and sales activities using CRM software.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product developments and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales of electrical or lighting products, preferably in B2B environments.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial project requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events.
