Site Engineer – Construction (Karachi)

About the role

Fim Enterprises is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its construction team in Karachi. The role focuses on overseeing building and civil works, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily onsite construction activities and verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections and promptly address any issues.
• Prepare detailed progress, quality assurance, and cost‑estimation reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to interpret drawings and resolve technical challenges.
• Manage surveying tasks to establish reference points and confirm design accuracy.
• Utilise AutoCAD and other design tools to review plans and suggest improvements.
• Estimate material, labour, and equipment costs for budgeting and resource allocation.
• Monitor safety regulations, environmental standards, and legal compliance on site.
• Coordinate deliveries, material inventories, and supplier schedules.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience as a Site Engineer on building and civil projects.
• Hands‑on approach with strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to work closely with architects, contractors, and engineering professionals.
• Good understanding of construction safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
