Site Manager – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Join Maersk’s Contract Logistics business as a Site Manager and take ownership of end‑to‑end operations of a logistics site, driving safe, efficient and customer‑focused warehouse and fulfillment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end warehouse and site operations, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day execution.
• Manage inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing and outbound/fulfillment activities.
• Drive operational excellence through planning, productivity management and continuous improvement.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, proper storage practices and adherence to processes and controls.
• Lead, coach and develop site teams, fostering a high‑performance and safety‑focused culture.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE, quality, regulatory and company standards.
• Manage customer requirements and service levels, maintaining high service delivery.
• Control site costs and resources, identifying productivity and profitability opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse, contract logistics, distribution or supply chain operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong experience managing large‑scale or complex warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated people leadership, team development and performance management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to implement sustainable solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced operational environment and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational performance tools.
