Solution Centre Engineer

About the role

INTECH Automation Intelligence is looking for a Solution Centre Engineer to design, optimise and propose control‑system solutions for customers across Oil & Gas, Utilities and Energy sectors. You will translate RFQs and technical specifications into complete, competitive proposals that meet performance, safety and cost‑efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily proposal and presales activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review RFQs, client specifications and tender documents, preparing Statement of Work (SOW) summaries.
• Develop comprehensive technical solutions and recommend optimal control‑system architectures.
• Prepare high‑quality technical and commercial proposals, including Gantt charts, compliance matrices and reference lists.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, OEMs and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing.
• Create detailed project cost estimates, commercial evaluations and pricing models.
• Maintain the Master Proposal Database, templates and standard solution libraries.
• Conduct quality reviews of proposals and identify technical, commercial and contractual risks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements.
• Excellent written communication skills for preparing clear, compliant proposals.
• Experience working on multi‑disciplinary projects in the automation or industrial sector.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
