Sr. Executive - Distribution & Demand Planning

About the role

This role manages and oversees end-to-end order management for its assigned region, ensuring timely order processing, inventory availability, effective distributor coordination and excellent customer service. It works closely with Sales, Marketing, Planning, Logistics, Finance and distributor partners to ensure efficient order fulfillment, resolve operational challenges quickly and support business objectives through stakeholder management, reporting and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage demand and order prioritization through coordination with Planning and Warehouse teams.
• Coordinate with Planning and Logistics to meet institutional and direct market customer requirements on time.
• Monitor pending or on-hold orders, identify bottlenecks and drive timely resolution with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and processes at the distributor level.
• Resolve operational and system-related issues with customers, distributors, field management and internal stakeholders.
• Share order status and performance reports with management, highlighting key risks and gaps.
• Ensure documentation, approvals, payment realization and verifications are in place for smooth order processing.
• Process institutional and direct market orders within defined timelines and coordinate with courier providers for timely delivery.
• Submit payment instruments and collections to Finance with complete supporting documentation.
• Manage DMS activities such as order approvals, product updates, customer training and transactional issue resolution.
• Ensure proper settlement and closure of withdrawal orders through customer acknowledgements and required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in Order Management, Distribution Operations, Customer Service or Supply Chain, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
• Working knowledge of Order Management, Distribution Operations, Inventory Management and Distributor Management.
• Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
