About the role
The Supervisor for Dry Food, Canned Goods & Edible Grocery will lead a team of store associates in a METRO Cash & Carry wholesale outlet. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will ensure optimal stock levels, proper product presentation and compliance with operational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Department Manager with stock ordering and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Lead store associates in mass merchandising, shelf and stock management, and keep the department clean.
- Drive productivity improvements and operational efficiency.
- Manage overnight (Dark Store) operations and ensure the department is ready for store opening.
- Implement planograms and maintain secondary displays according to BMPL guidelines.
- Conduct QA checks, monitor product expiries, and enforce FIFO handling.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, uniform policies and time‑keeping discipline.
Required profile
- Graduation or equivalent degree.
