About the role
The role involves supervising the Fresh Dairy, Bakery and Cafe sections, ensuring product quality, stock availability, hygiene and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Keep proper checks for expiry products
- Ensure rail card and signage are changed and updated as required
- Ensure shelves are presentable and filled
- Ensure stock availability
- Punch re‑packing in GMS system on a timely basis
- Perform MAV on a weekly basis through internal consumption for bakery production
- Perform stock orders with necessary documentation
- Participate in weekly and annual inventories
- Take corrective and preventive measures for wastage and shrinkage control
- Coordinate and resolve QA related issues from periodical visits and other findings
- Ensure proper cleansing and hygienic environment of bakery and production areas and equipment
- Continuously monitor the negatives
- Perform free samplings for product promotions of high‑priced articles
- Recommend new recipes for bakery products for sales improvement and addressing customer needs
- Structural deficiency monitoring
