Tax Accountant

About the role

Bay G Pharma is seeking a full‑time Tax Accountant to join its finance team in Islamabad, Pakistan. The role focuses on ensuring accurate tax compliance and supporting the preparation of the company’s financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns in accordance with Pakistani tax regulations.
• Maintain ongoing compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for tax optimisation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy.

Required profile

• Proficiency in tax compliance, tax preparation and understanding of tax regulations.
• Strong background in accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus.
• Familiarity with local Pakistani tax laws preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
