Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant will lead the preparation and review of financial statements, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Islamabad and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and post general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and analyze financial data.
• Support audits, tax filings, and ensure adherence to UAE accounting standards, taxation, and AML regulations.
• Optimize accounting processes, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide insights for budgeting, financial planning, and strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role within professional services or corporate environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Financial reporting and preparation of complex financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with modern accounting software and automation tools.
