Taxation & Accounts Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Taxation & Accounts Lead to oversee corporate tax compliance, bookkeeping and routine accounting functions. The role involves preparing tax provisions, filing returns and supporting audits while collaborating with tax consultants and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare responses to tax notices and represent the company in hearings with consultants.
• Calculate and record corporate tax provisions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• File withholding taxes, sales tax and other statutory returns for federal and provincial authorities.
• Maintain accurate tax records in the ERP system and support tax assessments and audits.
• Assist HR with payroll tax calculations and ensure timely tax withholding.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation to minimize liabilities.

Required profile

• B.Com, ACCA or CA qualification (articles).
• 4‑5 years of experience handling income tax, sales tax, bookkeeping and routine accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP accounting software.
