Team Leader – People Development & Standardization (Kabirwala Factory)

About the role

The Team Leader will oversee daily operations at the Kabirwala Factory, ensuring that production runs safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. The role focuses on people development, strict adherence to SOPs, and timely product launches to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy the People Development Plan, providing training, equipment use guidance, and enforcing safety and hygiene standards.
• Enforce strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all shift personnel.
• Coach employees using the NCE approach to exceed job requirements.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and installations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Monitor and enforce personnel hygiene, protective clothing, shoe changes, and hand‑washing protocols.
• Control line performance continuously, taking corrective actions to meet quality and manufacturing instructions.
• Manage employee and industrial relations to ensure smooth factory operations.
• Coordinate with the business unit for timely market launch of new products.
• Oversee maintenance of installations in collaboration with quality, engineering, and administration teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business or a related field.
• Relevant experience in factory or manufacturing operations management.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven people‑management and leadership abilities, including coaching and handling inappropriate behavior.
• Experience with mass‑balance calculations and mathematical analysis.
