Technical Consultant II

About the role

The Technical Consultant II is a customer‑facing technology professional who provides post‑implementation support for NCR software solutions. The role involves troubleshooting, configuring solutions to meet client needs, and acting as a trusted advisor to ensure successful adoption and business value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide post‑go‑live support, ensuring system stability, performance and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, configuration and technical issues efficiently.
• Gather business requirements from customers and translate them into effective software configurations.
• Configure, customize and optimize NCR products to meet operational and business needs.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with internal development, product, support and project teams to resolve challenges.
• Document requirements, solution designs, configurations and support activities.
• Support software upgrades, patches, releases and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6–7 years of customer‑facing experience in technical consulting, software support or implementation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 15%–25% as required.
