Ticketing Agent

About the role

The Ticketing Agent will promote and execute daily sales and customer service activities for the travel shop, handling reservations, ticketing, and related travel services to meet set targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Promote sales of tickets, packages, holidays, visas, insurance, car rentals and other travel products.
• Process reservations, travel bookings, modifications, and issue tickets for walk‑in and calling customers.
• Implement cross‑selling techniques and educate customers on promotions, campaigns and special offers.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints via visits, calls, emails and ensure a positive airline image.
• Notify customers of flight changes such as delays or cancellations.
• Process and monitor visa applications and cancellations in line with airline policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred in Tourism/Management; additional aviation or IATA qualifications are a plus.
• At least 1 year of counter ticketing sales experience in travel, airline or tourism.
• Good knowledge of airline/travel products and services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle angry customers, complaints and special requests.
• Ability to work long hours under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
