Vaccinator - Jaffarabad UC (Abdul Ghaffar)

About the role

BrightSpyre is hiring a Vaccinator for the Jaffarabad Union Council (Abdul Ghaffar) area. The role covers safe immunization of infants, children and adults, vaccine supply and cold chain, and EPI outreach services.

Key responsibilities

• Safely administer the correct vaccines with the correct dosage to children according to EPI protocols.
• Maintain the cold chain and monitor the quantity and expiry dates of all vaccines.
• Keep a stock register of vaccines and maintain the daily and permanent EPI registers.
• Prepare microplans in coordination with the District EPI and District Coordinator.
• Pick up and deliver vaccines daily between designated health facilities.
• Provide EPI services through outreach camps.
• Ensure the correct use and care of electronic equipment (Android phone, laptop, tablets) and medical supplies used by the team.
• Follow strict infection control measures and make sure the team follows them.
• Collect programme data on the given templates and call parents or caregivers to arrange follow-up visits.
• Submit requests for vaccines at least two weeks in advance so the supervisor can reorder supplies.
• Troubleshoot and support all areas of programme work as required, and carry out any other tasks requested by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow EPI protocols and infection control measures.
