Videographer

About the role

The Centre for Continuing Education Studies (CES) at LUMS is looking for a creative videographer who can produce professional videos, take photographs and edit images using Adobe software. The role covers event and course coverage, social media video content and marketing visuals.

Key responsibilities

• Photograph, record and edit all events and activities of CES, including evening courses, workshops and Summer/Winter School.
• Create video content for social media (short and long form, interviews, testimonials).
• Produce photographs and designs for marketing collateral such as social media posts, brochures and flyers.
• Set up and move cameras, tripods, monitors, lighting, cables and other equipment; plan, rehearse and shoot scenes.
• Take posed and candid photos, including promotional pictures, and select and install camera screens and filters.
• Maintain a database of all photographs and videos of the centre.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor and HOD, including off-campus events at any time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's (Hons) degree in media production, media studies, performing arts or photography/film/television from a HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Flexibility to work at any time and day, including off-campus events.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of cameras and related equipment.
• Video editing software such as Adobe Premiere.
• Graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop.
• Understanding of colour, lighting angles and perspective.
