VP of Human Resources – Lahore Office

About the role

Pixalate, a provider of fraud protection, privacy and compliance analytics for Connected TV, mobile apps and websites, is opening a new office in Lahore and is looking for a VP of Human Resources to set up and run HR for the Pakistan team. The role is hands-on and close to US leadership, HR and Finance, acting as the HR business partner for Pakistan operations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise leadership on how to employ the Pakistan team, plan HR priorities and budget, and align Pakistan HR practices with company policy
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan labour and employment laws, including contracts, working hours, leave, termination, EOBI, social security and tax withholding; manage local legal counsel, tax advisors and HR/payroll vendors
• Create and maintain HR policies, an employee handbook and HR, payroll and benefits records
• Onboard and offboard employees, including contracts, background checks, terminations and exit interviews
• Set salary ranges and benefits, administer benefits and leave, and oversee payroll or consultant payments with Finance and the CEO approval
• Run recruiting, performance reviews, training and career development, and hold regular HR meetings and trainings

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role (director level or above)
• Deep knowledge of Pakistan labour and employment law, payroll and tax requirements
• Experience setting up or growing HR in Pakistan for a US-based or international company
• Nice to have: Master's degree, HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, etc.), entity setup or EOR experience, and experience in tech, SaaS or start-up environments
