A320 Captain - Fixed-Term Contract (UAE to Pakistan)

About the role

Fly Jinnah, a group company of the airline group, is looking for skilled A320 type-rated foreign pilots to join its Pilots team on a fixed-term contract. The contract is open only to eligible foreign nationals and lasts 15 months, renewable on mutual agreement, with about 3 months of initial training followed by 12 months of flying duties.

Key responsibilities

• Fly the assigned aircraft according to schedules and approved flight plans, acting as ultimately responsible for the aircraft.
• Ensure flights follow the Airline's Operations Manual and regulations, and maintain safe operations.
• Ensure timely attendance, grooming, fitness and legal status of self and crew, and conduct pre-flight briefings.
• Liaise with co-pilots and the dispatch team on aircraft status, route, weather, fuel, weight and role distribution.
• Optimise fuel use within safety limits and ensure safety, security and transit checks are carried out.
• Direct crew on safety or security irregularities and decide on escalations.

Required profile

• ATPL licence is mandatory.
• Minimum 4,000 hours of flying and 800 hours as PIC on Airbus A320.
• Pass technical/psychometric assessment and medical fitness check as per airline and civil aviation authority standards.
• Formal safety and emergency response training is essential; airport/security procedures, CRM and IATA security standards training are advantages.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and exposure to QA/safety/security/audit procedures.

What we offer

• Pay of AED 22,000 net per month during training, rising to AED 33,800 net per month after training, plus per diem of AED 184 per day.
• Additional pay of AED 475 per block hour above 60 hours in a month.
• Hotel accommodation (bed and breakfast) and laundry at base and layover stations, plus ground transport to airports.
• Economy tickets at start and end of contract, up to 50 kg baggage, unlimited standby tickets on the Air Arabia group network, and MYID travel benefits after 6 months.
• Uniforms and laundry service, and 30 calendar days of annual leave per year of service, combined with rostered off days.
