Account Assistant

About the role

The Account Assistant will work full‑time on‑site in Lahore District, supporting the finance team of a leading rubber products manufacturer. This entry‑level position involves day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and assisting with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and update accounting records in the company’s systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, verify invoices, and reconcile bank statements.
• Organise and file financial documents, and help prepare basic financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing and payment queries.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to reconcile records accurately.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with finance teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality and compliance with financial regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Data entry and record‑keeping capabilities.
