Account Manager – Construction Finance

About the role

The Accounts Manager will be based on‑site in Islamabad, overseeing daily financial and accounting operations for construction projects. This full‑time position ensures accurate bookkeeping, timely invoicing, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices, manage the accounts payable cycle, and maintain vendor ledgers.
• Oversee store and inventory records for construction materials, conduct physical stock counts, and enforce material controls.
• Coordinate banking activities, prepare Interim Payment Certificates, and manage bank guarantees.
• Maintain books of accounts, close month‑end, prepare cost and variance reports, and support audits.

Required profile

• Minimum CAF (ICAP) or part‑qualified ACCA/CMA; completed articles from a QCR‑rated audit firm.
• Prior construction industry experience with project accounting, vendor payments, and site store management.
• Knowledge of banking coordination, IPCs, and bank guarantees.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
