Accountant – Global Finance Team

About the role

Ecolab is seeking an outsourced Accountant to join its global finance team. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day and month‑end accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, tax reports, cost analysis, AP review and fixed‑asset maintenance.
• Prepare accurate financial records and statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS and company policies.
• Conduct financial analysis, provide insights to senior management and support external audit processes.
• Monitor and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial strategies, process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, including GCC reporting requirements, and support treasury and cash‑management activities.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to ad‑hoc financial projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Professional certification such as CMA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• High level of accuracy, analytical ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with large ERP systems: iScala, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
