Accountant

About the role

Taiba Developers Pvt Ltd, a real estate developer focused on residential and commercial projects, is looking for an Accountant in Islamabad. The role supports accurate financial records and dependable reporting across the business, working closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries and accurate records of income, expenses, assets and liabilities.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, financial statements and management reports.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts and bank transactions, ensuring supporting documents are complete.
• Monitor project-related costs and help track budgets, cash flow and variances.
• Support accounts payable and receivable, follow up on outstanding balances and resolve routine discrepancies.
• Assist with tax documentation, audit requests and compliance with accounting requirements.
• Organize financial files and recommend improvements to accounting controls and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Practical experience with bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare financial statements, periodic reports and clear supporting schedules.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Effective communication, time management and discretion with confidential financial information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software, including formulas and data checks.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, bank transactions and cash-flow tracking.
• Understanding of budget monitoring, expense classification and project-cost documentation.
• Familiarity with Pakistan tax documentation and routine audit support is an advantage.
