Accountant

About the role

Strategic Guards & Security Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, which provides security guard services across Pakistan since 2013, is looking for an Accountant for its Lahore office. The role keeps financial records accurate and supports reliable financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and record day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts and expense claims in line with company procedures.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, follow up on outstanding items and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow tracking and month-end and year-end closing.
• Organize financial documentation needed for audits and tax compliance.
• Coordinate with departments to verify payroll, procurement and operational expense information.
• Protect confidential financial data and suggest improvements to accounting controls.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger accounting and standard financial reporting.
• Ability to reconcile bank, supplier, customer and other accounts.
• Competence in accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing and payment documentation.
• Understanding of budgeting, month-end closing and basic tax and audit documentation.
• Strong numerical accuracy, organization and attention to detail with high-volume transactions.
• Integrity and discretion with confidential payroll and financial information.
