Accountant

About the role

Malik Brothers, a Lahore-based construction company delivering apartment and house projects, is looking for an Accountant to keep financial records accurate and to support reliable project and company reporting. The role is based in Lahore and calls for careful handling of financial information, sound numerical judgment and consistent attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, maintain ledgers and organise supporting documentation.
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, payment records, bank reconciliations and routine financial reports.
• Track project-related expenses and help maintain cost records for apartment and house construction work.
• Monitor receivables and payables, follow up on pending documentation and support timely payment processing.
• Assist with monthly closing, budget comparisons, audit preparation and tax documentation.
• Coordinate with project and administrative teams to verify transactions and keep complete financial files.

Required profile

• Practical bookkeeping and accounting skills, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, payment records, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Strong numerical accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
• Understanding of monthly closing, audit support and basic tax record preparation.
• Professional communication and coordination skills, and integrity and discretion with confidential financial information.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software for data entry, calculations and financial summaries.
• Ability to track construction project expenses and keep clear supporting documentation.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of PKR 50,000 to 55,000.
