Accountant – Purchasing (Lahore)

About the role

Recruit AI is seeking a meticulous Accountant – Purchasing to manage purchasing transactions, vendor coordination, and inventory accounting. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Lahore and requires 2‑3 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily purchase orders for stock items, ensuring accuracy and alignment with procurement needs.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotations, place orders, and manage delivery schedules.
• Verify and record vendor shipments in Oracle NetSuite after warehouse confirmation.
• Process vendor invoices promptly to maintain timely payments and correct billing entries.
• Perform inventory adjustments and keep inventory records up‑to‑date.
• Generate daily out‑of‑stock reports for management following customer dispatches.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain inventory accuracy and smooth stock movement.
• Monitor purchasing transactions with proper documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Reconcile purchase order records with inventory data and vendor accounts to resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in purchasing accounting, inventory management, or procurement finance.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work across departments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
