Accountant – US Tax & QuickBooks (Lahore)

About the role

The Accountant at NVT will manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support compliance with U.S. tax laws. This position is based in Lahore and requires independent work on bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash‑flow reports.
• Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist with U.S. tax filings and coordinate with CPA firms to ensure IRS compliance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and implement required adjustments.
• Utilise QuickBooks for bookkeeping, transaction recording and reporting.
• Develop and maintain organised financial records in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with auditors, providing documentation and explanations during audits.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance, reporting discrepancies and recommending improvements.
• Use Microsoft Excel to analyse data, create reports and automate routine accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with U.S. tax filings and IRS compliance.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Proven track record of supporting audit readiness and regulatory reporting.
