Accounting Associate

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Associate to join our client delivery team. The role involves handling a wide range of general accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while supporting US‑based clients on night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, financial data entry, and expense coding for assigned client portfolios.
• Manage transactional workflows across general ledgers and assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Conduct hands‑on reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, customer accounts, and balance‑sheet items.
• Support month‑end close activities, including journal entry preparation, accrual tracking, and pre‑payment monitoring.
• Assist in broader financial close processes and compile data for timely client financial reports.
• Work within various client accounting platforms and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle, or SAP while adhering to internal controls.
• Coordinate with client management, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure transparent and accurate financial data flow.

Required profile

• ACCA or CA part‑qualified, or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of core accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑location, retail, corporate, or shared‑services environment.
• Strong practical understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, accruals, and month‑end close procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and client‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
