Accounts and Taxation Trainee

About the role

We are a leading accounting and law firm seeking enthusiastic trainees to support our accounts and taxation team. This position offers hands‑on experience in financial reporting, tax compliance and client services, ideal for candidates who have completed the ACCA fundamental knowledge level and are eager to develop their professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements and journal entries.
• Support the taxation department with data collection, filing of tax returns and compliance checks.
• Maintain and update client records using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of accounting and tax services.

Required profile

• Completed ACCA fundamental knowledge level or equivalent qualification.
• Strong interest in accounting, finance and taxation.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
