Accounts Associate

About the role

PI Partners is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Associate to manage day‑to‑day accounting functions and handle UAE VAT return filings for a portfolio of UAE‑based corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial records, and bank reconciliations for assigned UAE client accounts.
• Compile, verify, and file UAE VAT returns in full compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations.
• Utilize accounting systems to process sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with client stakeholders via email and professional chat for documentation and query resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA operational level).
• 1–3 years of core accounting experience, including hands‑on experience with UAE VAT rules and filing processes.
• Excellent professional English skills (both written and verbal).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with major ERP/Accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Focus ERP or SAP Business One.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting, plus proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
