Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

PsychPlus is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to lead the AP team and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Accounts Payable team, overseeing workload distribution and performance monitoring.
• Oversee end‑to‑end AP operations, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, approvals and payment processing using Sage and Bill.com.
• Maintain vendor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, monitor aging reports and ensure internal controls prevent duplicate or unauthorized payments.
• Coordinate month‑end closing activities, prepare AP reports, forecasts and support financial audits.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in accounting, accounts payable or financial operations.
• Previous experience managing an Accounts Payable team (mandatory).
• Experience supporting U.S. accounting operations is preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Sage accounting software.
• Hands‑on experience with Bill.com.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
