Application Associate, SNL Feeds

About the role

S&P Global Market Intelligence is looking for an Application Associate to support its SNL Feeds data product, which powers the world's largest financial institutions. You will sit at the point where the product meets the client: investigating how clients use the feeds, finding where the product falls short, and working with Product and Data Operations to fix the root causes so the issues stay fixed.

Key responsibilities

• Become a product expert on SNL Feeds, including how they are structured, delivered and used by clients
• Investigate data and product issues to find root causes and drive permanent fixes instead of one-off workarounds
• Spot patterns across client conversations, surveys, case reviews and feedback, and turn them into product insights and improvement ideas
• Partner with Product Managers and team leads to shape enhancements, prioritise fixes and bring the client's perspective into product decisions
• Work with Data Operations to improve the accuracy, reliability and usability of the data clients receive
• Keep documentation, data sources and workflows accurate and current as the product changes
• Review product changes and releases from the client's point of view so clients get clear communication and a smooth transition
• Grow technical and consulting skills through coaching, mentoring and hands-on work

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field
• Fresher or up to 6 months of experience in product support, application support, data operations or a client-facing technical role
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to explain technical concepts simply, with clear written and verbal communication
• Ownership, accountability and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; flexibility for varied schedules
• Plus: experience with Salesforce or other case management tools, and an understanding of financial data or capital markets

Required skills

• Knowledge of SQL, APIs or feed-based delivery systems is an advantage
• Technical skills in SNL Feeds, Snowflake, structured data and API delivery are offered as part of the role
