About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Accountant to support our daily accounting operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate recording of transactions, timely reconciliation, and smooth month‑end closing.

Key responsibilities

Assist in maintaining day‑to‑day financial transactions and records.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile cash, bank statements, and Point of Sale (POS) transactions.
Monitor and record sales data from POS systems.
Prepare invoices, vouchers, and expense reports.
Support monthly closing and reporting activities.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Assist with audits and internal control procedures.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Experience working with POS systems and sales reconciliation.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
