Assistant Audit Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Audit Manager to join our Karachi office and lead both internal and external audit engagements for a varied client base. The role combines technical audit expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute internal and external audits across multiple industries.
• Lead audit fieldwork, manage timelines, and ensure completion of working papers.
• Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Maintain audit quality, adherence to IFRS, ISA, and local regulations.
• Communicate audit findings to clients and resolve queries promptly.
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional development during engagements.

Required profile

• CA qualified/finalist or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum 3.5 years of mandatory training at a professional audit firm.
• At least 2 years of post‑training external audit experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, ISA, and relevant local regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit tools and related software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and ISA standards.
