Assistant Manager Accounts & Taxation

About the role

The company is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Accounts and Taxation functions. This mid‑senior level position will ensure compliance with tax regulations while supporting month‑end and year‑end financial closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly Sales Tax returns and maintain complete records.
• Prepare and file Withholding Tax (WHT) statements/returns under the relevant sections.
• Ensure full compliance with Income Tax and Sales Tax laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with tax authorities, handle tax notices and maintain tax documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial closing and reporting.
• Assist in internal and external audits and ensure statutory compliance.
• Liaise with consultants and regulatory bodies as required.

Required profile

• Preferred qualifications: ACCA (part‑qualified), CA Inter, ACMA (part‑qualified) or MBA (Finance).
• Strong knowledge of Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax regulations (FBR & PRA).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
